How to Celebrate National Candy Day!

Date: October 5, 2020

We’re going to be 100 percent honest with you here. It often feel like every day is the National _______ Day. We can’t even keep track any more. National Pizza Day? That’s on February 9. National Pie Day? January 23. Yeah, yeah, we know what you’re thinking, right now smarty pants…..shouldn’t it be on March 14?

Congress has already recognized Pi Day on March 14, so that one is covered as well. Anyway, we’re here to talk about National Candy Day. Yes, it is a real day and yes, it is awesome. Best of all, it is actually right around the corner! Be sure to make your calendars because National Candy Day will be here before you know it.

November 4 is a day where we can all come together and enjoy the delicious treats of our choosing. Since the holiday comes four days after Halloween, there’s a good chance you will still have some candy on hand. Whether you have your own at the ready or you’re sneaking some away from your little one’s trick or treat bag, there are any number of ways to indulge on the big day.

Make Your Own

What better way to try something new than by making it yourself? This is one of the easiest ways to expand your palate and find the candies that you truly love most. There are a wide range of recipes to choose from. All it takes is a little bit of browsing and you are on your way to flavor town. Select the one that piques your interest, grab your chef’s hat and get down to business!

Head To The Store

Okay, so maybe you’re not in the mood to spend a lot of time in the kitchen experimenting. That’s fair enough. Maybe you can head to the store and find something new and interesting. Everyone has their usual go to when they are making a candy run. On November 4, you can use National Candy Day as your inspiration to make bold new choices. Or, you can…..

This is truly the best way to celebrate National Candy Day. Nothing says that you love someone quite a candy bouquet. We love giving sweets to our sweets and this one is always a home run. Quite frankly, we wish that there were more holidays that provided us with an excuse to give (and hopefully receive!) baskets of candy.

Everyone’s Favorite Candy Basket is always a smash hit, in our experience. How can you ever possibly go wrong when all of the timeless classics are present and accounted for? It’s a who’s who of the very best candies that the world has to offer, a Mount Rushmore of sorts. These candy baskets are one of the many reasons why National Candy Day has quickly become one of our new favorite annual traditions.
